Fun at the Sun

A great lady once said “A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down”. Savvy meeting planners know that adding a bit of fun and entertainment to a business function leads to great enthusiasm among those in attendance.

Kiewit Infrastructure Group, one of North America's largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations, planned a district meeting at the spectacular Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville CT. Kiewet luckily has a super-savvy event planner who called on Screaming Queens to provide a spectacular 90 minute celebrity impersonator extravaganza.

Groundbreaking comedian Joan Rivers returned from the great beyond to host the show and serve up some sizzling stand-up. “Tonight” Joan declared loudly in the style of PT Barnum “You’ll see Cher, Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton, Lady Gaga, and Chicago’s Roxy Hart! They’re all backstage and they’re all shaving in one mirror.”

The guests had a blast. They loved our “ladies” so much they stuck around for 40 minutes after the show to take photos with the cast and ask Dolly for her beauty secrets.

Lady Gaga, Cher, Joan RIvers, Dolly Parton, and amazing dancers appeared at the Mohegan Sun Cabaret Theater for a awe-inspiring corporate event.
